The reason PS3 gamers felt smug was because the hardware was most powerful. According to this post, the reason Xbox One gamers feel smug is because...of a camera. Huh.

I don't know about you (actually, thanks to this post I do know), but a camera and an HDMI in port doesn't make up for inferior graphics and a higher price point.

This does a better job of ridiculing PlayStation fans of 07 than being anything positive for XBOX.

Lass gen the PS3 was $100 more yet even without the price difference making it "high-end," most gamers would still have preferred the 360. This is the same today. If the Xbox One was dropped to $400 before launch, most gamers would still probably get a PS4 first. It's nothing about the system being only for elite spenders, it's just worse than the competition.
