They do, but I'm hoping that Jay will realise his blunder through the power of teasing.

Not a blunder, this is what the person in the article wrote, not me. Wave Race was made by Nintendo EAD. The Author of the article is saying it is the best sequel that never was. He is not saying that it was made by Rare.
"So I don’t know why I was surprised to find that Kinect Sports Rivals seems to take place on pixelated version of Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort. Not that it really matters, especially not when one of its six sports is the best sequel to Wave Race 64 that never was."
"Kinect Sports Rivals – better than Wave Race: Blue Storm"
Watching this makes me want to hop on a real jetski.
The game is looking good. I'm happy they delayed it from launch so they could put some more time and effort into making it better.

Agreed lol Itll also be a good time to buy it since that part of the year isnt flooded with new releases.
Cool, better than a game that came out 12 years ago................... Glad 2.0 works better though.

I think it is amazing that Hard Core gamers and Kinect Haters are enjoy, well, even, loving this game!
And it's only the first for the new Kinect. Looking forward to what else they do with it. Especially, as it is so much more powerful than the first one.
Should be some new awesome Kinect Games! Can't wait!

But what are you "saying", Jay? Or, more pertinently, what are you missing out from your thread title and subsequent analysis?
| JayWood2010 said: I wasnt going to buy this game until i watched people at Gamescom play Wave Race on it. And you have to rev the throttle like a real jet ski. It is a perfect fit and is also very accurate. Oh and very stunning to look at. Ill be buying it for Wave Race alone. Just hoping they have multiple race tracks. |
I understand that minimalism is de rigeur, but you are iterating off some lazy journalism here, in a bad way.

I apologize if this thread somehow offended you, but repeatedly commenting about an error when there is none isnt going to change it either. It is all explained in the article yet you seem a little upset that something is being compared or better than an old nintendo Ip.

He didnt say it was better than Wave Race 64. He is saying he finally played a game worthy of a Wave Race 64 sequel.
Thats awesome news.
You know what game would work reeeeallly well with Kinect? Road Rash
Use both arms to steer, twist one wrist for speed/break, use a throwing motion to attack.
