Please do! And if you donate please spread the word! Heck even if you wish to wait a while spread the word. We Metroid fans need to unite and help make this happen!

True this is not a new Metroid game. But! This is pretty cool, and who knows? If this gets funded we might get a new game fast-tracked to capitalize on the momentum this would create.

And at the very least.....it's better than no Metroid at all.....right?

I do apologize for giving any false conceptions SnakeEyez but it was like I was saying a post earlier, this can lead to a new Metroid game.

It's a simple process:

1. We fund this.

2. It gets made.

3. It rocks and becomes an internet sensation.

4. Nintendo sees how much we still care about Metroid.

5. They make a new Metroid game.

See? Simple. But none of that happens if we don't help fund this.

I can't believe this is the first I've heard of this. I'm not sure they'll reach their goal at this rate.

4. Nintendo summons Reggie their legal team to "take names".

5. They make a new Metroid game, when they feel like it.

EDIT: Waaait, are you really implying that step 5 won't happen unless some mugs fund a startup project? My step 5 is what will happen, regardless.

That's why we have to come together to make this work. All it takes is one big day with a lot of donations and people will be drawn to it and it'll get more hits.

Kickstarter likes to show off projects who are close to their goals or get a lot of hits in one day. i've seen it happen before.

So donate if you want (trust me, it's worth it), spread the word and get other people involved in this. It may seem like a mountain now but it'll be a molehole if we each do our part.
