actually i can judge, cuz i played the demo, i cant give a review but i can give my experience on controls. Its different, but thats it. Its KIU all over again with CONTROLS, beside she the only one so far thats under an 8, so yeah *sigh

Metro GameCentral  70
"Insurmountable problems with the controls stop this from being another Platinum classic but it’s still a fun game, overflowing with charm and wonderfully silly action."

GamesRadar  60
"But it’s the clumsy, ham-fisted delivery of some sections that grates the most. One example of this when when the action is switched onto the GamePad screen, where the camera suddenly works on gyroscopic control. When this happens, the game is rendered almost unplayable and simply walking upstairs becomes a serious test of your controller skills."

This is getting silly.  If they didn't like the controls then they didn't like the controls.  Trying to paint this as meaning they don't know how to play videogames is ridiculous.

if you dont like something that is already negativity in your head, like i said KIU had some bad reviews as well clinging on the fact of CONTROLS. KIU is an amazing game and W101 looks like a solid 8.0-8.5 so far. If you dont like controls that doesn't mean everyone else wont either. Skyward sword was another great game but reviewers cried cuz of motion control cuz their arms are a little to tired to lift from the couch their usally glued on lmao

To be fair, I thought the controls for SS were mostly fine, but even I had issues with a few of the options. Flying and swimming could be a pain, and during the first Ghirahim fight, it took me so long to figure it out that my arm got tired from swinging and I had to take a break. I was actually psyched to go on, but the nature of the controls forced me to take a break.

Aaaaand another Wii-U title bites the dust...The game is looking to have a metascore settling in the mid-70's range. Not saying that's a bad metascore, but the Wii-U really needs to get some original hard hitting 90+ titles under it's belt. Getting tired of the same old, and the new IPs aren't looking too good so far. Hopefully X turns out as good as it looks and I can finally buy a game for my Wii-U.

Mostly just some fumbled signposting. I think if the trick you use to break his guard had been better utilized in the temple (or, for that matter, in the rest of the game) it would have been a more intuitive fight. As it was, I thought I was supposed to feign and strike, or counter attack, or block. Took me 2 attempts, 25 minutes and a trip to GameFAQ's to beat him.

A little off. Still, it seems like hardly anyone can seem to get these hybrid control systems just right. It's always the concept or execution that trips them up.

Indeed.

Honestly, the problems people seem to be having with this game's controls sound awful similar to those of Skyward Sword. Signposting and input error.

Looks like Wonderful 101 won't be a system seller at all, to be honest.
