To be fair, I thought the controls for SS were mostly fine, but even I had issues with a few of the options. Flying and swimming could be a pain, and during the first Ghirahim fight, it took me so long to figure it out that my arm got tired from swinging and I had to take a break. I was actually psyched to go on, but the nature of the controls forced me to take a break.

Mostly just some fumbled signposting. I think if the trick you use to break his guard had been better utilized in the temple (or, for that matter, in the rest of the game) it would have been a more intuitive fight. As it was, I thought I was supposed to feign and strike, or counter attack, or block. Took me 2 attempts, 25 minutes and a trip to GameFAQ's to beat him.

Glad I'm not the only one.
