Don't you dare mention those. Atlus were the ones risking it all, Namco Bandai just wanted profits after seeing how well Demon's were doing in America. xD

Ok....didn't Altus want profit as well? Its not like they made the game. I am sure they knew America was a healthy market. Has Altus even been bought out yet? I hope to god Sega doesn't get them.

Ohhhhhh....If there are two companies that can reinvigorate the JRPG market  (if they wanted to) it would be Nintendo and Sony. Microsoft can try but it would be all for nothing.

Which JRPG was developed by Sony??

Off the top of my head, Legend of Dragoon? Demon Souls was co-created by Sony and funded, which is why the company had to change the name to Dark Souls. Level 5 has also been creating JRPG's under their publishing since the first Playstation 2. Theres been a lot of non-published games like Disgaea and Persona that have been exclusive to the playstation brand. Sony has a history with JRPG's dude. If they refocused their efforts for it on their primary platform it could revitalize JRPG. Funny enough, Sony's Japan studios have only made adventure games and racers. It would be awesome if they made a JRPG, but they are putting the finishing touches on Knack right now. Theres probably plenty more games from first, second and third party but I am going off the top of my head right now.

So Sony mostly moneyhatted JRPGs, "dude"?

If you consider publishing moneyhatting. No one attacks Microsoft for publishing Lost Odyssey. Moneyhatting is buying third party exclusivity...which is referring to Sony with Grand Theft Auto or Microsoft with Gears, Dead Rising, Titan Fall, Ninja Gaiden, Mass Effect, Bioshock etc. Sony had Japan under heavy lockdown and most third parties found Sony to be the most profitable console so they took the chances are a lot of them took the risk on going exclusive to Sony especially since Japan saw no reason to buy an Xbox.

PS3 was already a shooter box, IMO. PS4 is just following the trend.

Good joke, really good one

who said im joking? dont i make a point?

GG's are making 2 shooters.

SSM are making a shooter

Ready at dawn are making a shooter

sucker punch are making a shooter

Naughty Dog are making a shooter

those are 6 shooter exclusives right there

I don't know if I agree with infamous being a shooter. There's lots of melee and bigger attacks you use in those games.  Also aren't you assuming about GG second team and isn't uncharted and the order more of action adventure games?

Well, there's a lot of melee too in Call of Duty, for example, and arguably that's the most deadly way to deal with enemies both in CoD and Infamous, so we can count it as a shooter.

And for this same rule, we can apply it to Uncharted.

Seriously?  I just never feel like I'm playing a shooter in either of those.  I'm platforming and doing set pieces as much as I'm "shooting" in either of those games and I still don't consider using the multitude of infamous powers "shooting"

lol this is a joke right? I mean, immediately, it looks like a joke, but banana seems to be pushing it seriously

Man, I was being genuinely sarcastic.
