Forums - Microsoft - No live stream for Microsoft Gamescom media briefing

From Gaf:

Most of the time will be spent with the press getting time with the developers and their games. You should think about this as a room with a lot of hands-on.”

“The nice thing about the way the showcase is shaping up is people at home will have access to it. Streaming is probably not the way to do it because it will be like watching a party that you’re not at,” Spencer said, adding, “So what we’re going to do is, throughout the day, we’re going to take video snippets from the floor and release them on the Xbox Wire.

So no actual conference. Assuming no release date announcement too.

Meh.

Sucks for fans I guess.

Wow boring mofos

Wait, what does this mean? There won't be a show like the ones at E3?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

makes sense as only half of Europe will actually get the system at launch :p

It's a little strange, but perhaps they've decided to see what Sony do in their conference and then formulate a plan. Seems a bit backward really, but i think its more disappointing for MS fans who want a conference and see what plans they have cooking.

Precisely.

Though, this is an old topic.

That's disappointing to say the least.

At least Sony are doing one.

Isn't this a bit like what Nintendo did with E3?

They're just handing this generation to Sony aren't they?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Don't really see how this is a bad thing as everything that would have been on the stream will still be all over gaming websites.
It also appears to be more of a hands on then a briefing
