This thread didn't put down Nintendo or Sony....that is what most "fanboys" do when praising their favourite. This was just a pure X1 thread arguing its merits. Somehow, the idea of liking the X1 for what it is "does not compute" and the idea of liking it seems ridiculous. Therefore, they must come off as a fanboy......

Its that mindset, that unwillingness to see that your console isn't desired by everyone and that people actually want something you yourself don't like. It was a total misuse of that "F" word. It was improper labelling and it was condasending.

I embrace my bias, and I will openly debate with others. But I will never look down on someone for holding a opposite view and I will always be open minded enough to see the pros of the competition. Think thats my secret to why I haven't been banned in a couple months, at least.

You know the Vita is also a dev kit. Hasn't really amounted to much.

When a pro Xbone thread just can list weak or pointless arguments... you have a idea of the situation of the console.

1) I don't see that devkit feature being a selling point... in fact that will be useless for 99% of the user base of the console... $499 is expensive even the console being a devkit (in fact there is no difference in the hardware with this devkit feature... the devkit is not a full devkit... it is a limited one)

2) There are some nice promises in games... little exclusives... and little variety.... even so this is the less pointless argument of your list

3) You are paying for Kinect... there are extra cost lol.

4) Any dedicated server can do what Cloud can and the Cloud won't make miracles with games... PR marketing because MS have the weakest console in hardware terms (way week this time).

5) Both consoles have that... in fact both consoles uses the same CPU lol... visualization didn't make the multitasking or instant switching better... both consoles have the same potential and what you make one better than other in this case is the software... I agree MS is better for OS software than Sony... but you "true" make your argument bullshit because both have the same potential for multitasking and instant switching.

6) Both controller have these "invitations" and the PS4 one have more.

7) Tell me what big possibility? The HDMI in exists to you plug your required cable box to watch TV over Xbone.

8) XBLA always was better than PSN for indies... I agree.... but the things seems to change this time.

9) So you already know how XBLA on Xbone will be? The user base and eecosystem?

10) Give a date for Halo?

Plus most of these features are not ready for this christmas (Halo, Devkit, XBLA games, etc)... what make your arguments even more insignifcants for own this christmas

Truth is that you haven't been banned because you are not as bad as some people choose to believe. I have always enjoyed bullshitting with you.

As for the rest of it, especially in the case of the use of the word fanboy, the TC retorted by calling Dr. Grass a fanboy as well. In that case the mod should have just left it alone. It wasn't really that out of control that action was necessary. That is what I believe.

I think the topic would have been much better if it stuck to things being readily available this holiday season. That would have been the best way to avoid people trying to pick your arguments apart. Doesn't matter what forum or subject people are discussing, people will always find a way to rebut it if you leave the door wide open for them to do so.

It is a weak list considering that some of the things listed won't be there until next year and the very first feature is something that hasn't yet been comfirmed. Not to mention the same could be said of the ps4 regarding many of these features on a list that's supposed to give reasons as to why to choose the Xbox One this December. And yes- many features were left out of the list that actually do make the Xbox One better in some ways. And yes, Microsoft could do anything to the Xbox One and there would still be people claiming it's better than the PS4.In fact it has already happened when Microsoft originally announced the Xbox One. Many people on Vgchartz were defending Microsoft's policies (I'm guessing you were one of them, maybe not, but those people exist on this site).

I'm buying the xbone at launch for exclusives. I love games and want to play them all.

Most of your list is silly though, especially calling it a dev kit. It is technically, but it's really not. PS Vita is a dev kit too, technically.

I think I am going to get one, just not in the first year.

No matter how much I read about XO, I just can't find a good enough reason to pick it over the PS4. The only things that matter to me are dedicated serwers (a really nice thing, Sony should follow suit, but I guess they can't afford it ATM) and maybe the modding stuff. I'm not a huge fan of mods, but use them from time to time, so this is actually ok and I would welcome it on PS4 as well. In every other aspect the PS4 clearly wins. Add to this the fact that I will actually be able to buy it and there is no doubt in my mind as to why I'm gonna wait with the XO until it drops to around $150.



PS. TruckOSaurus is a huge moderation fanboy.

I will be getting it for its best exclusive so far. Kinect . Nothing beats watching my media by voice, and the added multimedia functions make it a no brainer for me. There isn't a single device out there that does what kinect does in allowing you to use your voice to control TV, Redbox Instant, HBO Go, Netflix, etc. I have been searching, and there is nothing out there that does this, nothing. So that is the reason I am getting a xbox one before any other next gen conmsole. As far as games, there are so many games all over the place I dont really worry about that. I play most my games on PC as its far cheaper. But I enjoy controller gaming so I like to have a console around too.
