It isn't going to have dev kit functionality at launch, so that shouldn't be listed as a reason to own it THIS Christmas. Same goes for Halo 5.
Extra cost is also added. Kinect is being forced upon everyone at time of purchase, whether they wanted it or not. This was the same case with BluRay when PS3 launched. Yes, it could be argued that it adds overall value for the price, but the entry price is still high regardless.
XBLA is a great point. I will admit that it was by far (In my opinion) the best part of the XBox360. The quality of titles that released on XBLA was top notch. Many well respected titles.
We don't fully know what Cloud Processing will bring, so that comes off more as a optimistic veiwpoint rather than an an actual selling point. You also mention that you believe the noticiable stuff will come in 2-3 years, which brings me back to my first point, which is that if it isn't something for this year, then it isn't really a reason to own it this year.
Other than that I can't argue against anything you said and agree with Dr. Grass that you left out some of the more important features, which will actually be present this year.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
