Some of the reasons seem to be a big leap. Yes, the xbox One will someday allow every unit to be used as a dev-kit, but is it then reasonable to assume that Microsoft will allow the Xbox One to be used for mods or have Microsfot said that themselves?
It's unreasonable to list an unconfirmed feature as a major reason to buy the console on Christmas especially considering dev-kit support isn't going to be in the system this year. Why should I be buying it in December for this reason?
Also 3 controllers for no extra cost? I count 2, but even then you're paying more than you otherwise would've if the Kinect weren't bundled.
The PS4 is getting a lot of indie-support also with many exclusives coming out in the first year (though some are also on pc).
And I'm still laughing at the power of the cloud.
Yes Halo will be coming, but not THIS December. I don't see why I shouldn't wait to buy an Xbox One next year and/or buy a PS4 this year instead.
Many of the things on this list can also be said for the ps4 - there's really not much of a difference with the 2 consoles now.
