If I'm not mistaken MKWii did it as well, but congrats to Kirby it's a great game and it really deserves it.

There was a thread about this game's absurd American sales not that long ago...
The conclusion drawn was that the price was cut to a level casuals couldn't ignore...

there are many games that went up YoY.
Like GTA IV on ps3 went up 100k from '09 to '10.
360 version did the same but from '10 to '11.
And I bet dozen other games did it

Its Very Common for games to go down YoY especially when there over 2 years old (not counting different region releases), but one game proved that it can, and in fact not even in 8 months and w/o Holiday! Its sales are really coming from US, but non the less its doing great!

Cool, but I'm sure there are more examples, particularly in the DS (and maybe Wii) line of evergreen titles. Those just keep on selling tons years after release.
