Id say its more to do with competition from other giant franchises. Grand Theft Auto and now Battlefield 4.

First time ever really that CoD has been up against such competition.

I know. They're still paying for the port though. ONE of those games is going to fail spectacularly. It's just not possible for them to all sell the 5-10m they're expecting.
