Like Guitar Hero, they pushed it too far. Black Ops 2 was already a big decline from Modern Warfare 3, Ghosts will only follow the trend that has been set.
What's gonna be hilarious is when sales of CoD: Ghosts, BF4, Destiny and Titanfall are all evenly split across the platforms they're on (X360/One/PS3/PS4/PC/Wii U), and all competing for the same users, so that each platform/title combo gets like 200k sales and bombs hard, but if it was one shooter on no more than two platforms it'd be a success.
OR people finally understand buying their games one year out of two save 70 bucks and don't make the slightest difference.
When the newest feature you can boast about is a dog, fish A.I and more of the same...
PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I personally think, its the slow transistion to next gen that's slowing down pre-orders. Too many choices.
But god I would....be happy (even though its wrong to wish a game to fail in my eyes) to see this franchise bomb so the FPS genre can slowly go the F**K AWAY!!!

It's not next gens thought, it's the fact COD has been reskinned continuously since COD 4. What do they expect? But the problem is that it will still sell millions of copies anyway
