Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Congratulations. You're in charge of Nintendo. Now what?

As of August 1st you're running Nintendo. What would you do to turn it around for the house of Mario and keep them competitive with the two next Gen consoles hitting in a few months?

I saw this topic on Gaf

Turn into a 3rd party company, putting mario/zelda on all platforms! And pokemon too

mM

Sell some Wii U's

turn mario into a sex symbol by making a porno with him and peach. (then add yoshi and the others)

after mario becomes a sex symbol sales will explode. i can see it now, 50 shaders of mario

Put the Virtual Console on iOS and make an official Nintendo iPhone Gamepad case.

no

I make Mario an FPS, Metroid a colorful 2D shoot-em-up, F-Zero a fighting game, Starfox a dating sim, Animal Crossing an action adventure game, Zelda an SRPG, Pikmin an MMORPG, Pokemon a horror survival game, and any new IP's will be WRPG's featuring fully custom characters with a 100% non-linear gameplay, and a 500,000 square mile open world where you can do anything from stealing from babies, to having sex in public.
Then, I would make all these games available to PC and make all the consoles the most powerful on the market, and sell them for a $300 dollar loss each console, MSRP $5,555.55.

Give Miyamoto and Aunouma a hefty retirement bonus.

Buy Atlus.

Buy Epic Games and all rights to UE.

Yeah, I'd be a terrible president.

Yeah, you'd suck.  Better follow my example.  I'd be leading Nintendo into the golden age.  There's NOTHING wrong with my plan!  IT IS FLAWLESS.

I would either:

a) Cut off the Wii U slowly (as to not piss off the people who already bought one), but would discontinue mid-2014 if sales are still sluggish. After this, I will focus soley on the 3DS.

or

b) Moneyhat. Start trying to buy exclusives, and get some multiplats. The problem of course is power, so I might just scratch the Wii U and upgrade the hardware, and replace current Wii U's on the market.
