I just can't even begin to imagine how low that is. How can anyone even stretch towards finding this almost passable?

Well I guess there's some comedy in it.
The Wii shipped 3.43 million in the equivalent quarter in 2007, so that's almost 22x the Wii U shipment, lol. And that was almost certainly with hardware restrained.
The tale of Wii vs. Wii U couldn't be any more different to date.

It seems someone was bursting with excitement to post this negative Wii U thread.
This is atrocious. Especially Europe. I'm sure it will start selling better as of now, but I don't see anything between Christmas and Mario Kart to maintain momentum. Hopefully we get some new announcements and dates for the big hitters of 2014 soon.
So bad. Hopefully, Nintendo is learning lessons from this. Don't release a console if you aren't ready to support it properly.
Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
They must have shipped alot of them initially to not be needing to replenish the selves, Id imagine outlets thought they would have needed alot of stock and are just struggling to shift it all.

They probably had alot of unsold stock, thats my guess why they didnt need to ship much there.
