Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze has a shot I reckon.

I haven't played Bioshock Infinite yet either, that will likely be a strong contender too.

I wish there was an alternate ending for beating it on survivor. I played 1 hour of survivor then realized it's better much the same. Looking to sell my copy now. It was a great ride.

Most likely GTA V.

That doesn't take away from how great a game TLoU was though.

My personal GOTY so far is Bioshock Infinite. Combat was fun, and the twisting, turning plot kept me intrigued right to the end (where everything twists even more).

I haven't played TLOU (not a PS3 owner), but I watched an entire playthrough on Youtube. It's a fantastic game, to be sure. The characters were more relatable in TLOU, though the ending (while well-crafted in its own right) didn't wow me like Bioshock's did. Gameplay-wise, TLOU is very stealth-oriented, which is NOT my cup of tea; I'm honestly not sure if I would have enjoyed TLOU more if I had played it, rather than just watching it.

I've played (and completed) them both and I definitely like Bioshock Infinite better (by a fair margin at that), but then again I'm one of the biggest Bioshock fans on this site so... there's that, lol.

The only game that could compete with TLOU this year is GTA V , I think it will be even better .
I highly doubt games like Bioshock or TR would win GOTY over TLOU .
so GOTY 2013 is either TLOU or GTA V .
