When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

So to me the WiiU has an anemic selection of exclusives that actually peak my interest, then theirs the 3rd party delema, in that I'll be playing the superior versions on the PS4 along with Sony's exclusives. In my opinion Sony currently has the best overall selection of exclusive titles that peak my interest, and yes this is my opinion and I understand that taste in games is subjective, so to each their own, no harm done. I am merely answering the OP's question. I would of put Zelda Wind Waker HD on that list, but i played the fuck out of it back on the gamecube, plus I have an emulated version as well...I would of played it if it had Trophies/Achievements cuz I'm a sucker for them, but for the time being it's off my list. Other than that, the only game which would ever make me buy a WiiU instantaneously would be a real main line Pokemon game, no spin of, but the real deal...to bad Nintendo won't ever do that. Sometimes I wish Nintendo sold it's Pokemon IP to Sony or a 3rd party, just someone else who would take more care of the pokemon franchise and evolve it to it's full potential with proper online and all, to bad Nintendo like Ash refuses to evolve the pokemon franchise past what they've done, so we end up with a stale pikachu...God dammit Ash sucks...so much lost opportunity. In any case, the list presented is enough to easily get the Nintendo aficionados to purchase the WiiU assuming they haven't already done so, but the list at the same time is insufficient to convince everyone else who simply isn't a Nintendo fan to pick up a WiiU....especially when the PS4/X1 are just around the corner. It also doesn't help that the PS4 is only $50 more than the premium WiiU. That's my 2 cents, take it as you like, after all this is just one guys opinion in a sea of opinions :) |
Hey, please be respectful XD
I think that list needs more RPGs and I hope they show more info about X soon, so far I'm not sold on the WiiU

Of the 26 games in the OP, only 6, less than 1/4 of them, feature Mario. Try again.

Like I said, I migrated to Sony platforms, as I grew my taste in games grew along with it.
My last favorite Sonic games were Sonic adventures 2 and Sonic Unleashed, yeah people hated the game but I liked it, it had a nice break between fast platforming and slower combat, kinda like Sonic adventures 2. After these I haven't found to much appeal in Sonic games, and no thank you I will not be purchasing that mario & sonic Olympic circus boogaloo, you see I'm allergic to mini game compilations. But in all seriousness I'll be looking a lil into that Sonic lost words game, don't know enough about it to make a proper judgment, I'll wait till it's out and see what type of gameplay it actually contains....the last thing I wanna do is accidentally purchase a Sonic 2006 like game XD
Looking forward to Zelda U, Mario Kart 8. Already own New Super Mario Bros U, Zombiu and Tank Tank Tank. May get wind Waker if there is enough of a difference to justify buying it again.
I can't wait for:
Wii Party U
Mario 3D World
Mario Kart
Super Smash Bros.
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Just Dance 2014
Yarn Yoshi
