Of those games, Pikmin 3 (<3) and LEGO City Undercover are the ones that interest me the most. I'm not actually that fussed about the upcoming games. DKCRTF (playing through the Wii game at the minute - great fun in co-op; tedious playing solo) and Mario Kart 8 look solid, but I'm secretly hoping from some more of Nintendo's lesser IP's that I'm a fan of. I'd go crazy for a new Battalion Wars; and Star Fox/F-Zero would be my kind of thing as well.

Secretly, though, I'm hoping for some of the more hidden stuff that made Wii's library so great. A Little King's Story; No More Heroes or Eledees, something like that. I was one of the people who actually appreciated that Wii was getting spinoffs-rather-than-main-entries of some big franchises too (Final Fantasy; SSX) because I was already buying the main article on PS3 (and will probably continue doing the same for PS4), so anything like that would again greatly pique my interest in the console.

Anyway, there are a load of my random thoughts written down.


You sound crazy...i like it. But I wouldnt hold my breath for a new NMH, not after what the last one did. And there was just a new LKS for Vita, so I wouldnt hold out for that either. Dont know what the hell Eledees is.

Besides Pikmin 3, which isn't out here yet, the current line up is pretty weak in my opinion. I have NSMB: U and Luigi U, but really bought it for future games.

X, Sonic lost world and Bayonetta 2 catch my fancy, aswell as the zelda games.

I'm lol'ing at the people that are saying nothing interests them when Zelda Wii U is listed there. If its anything like Aonuma teased, it will be an incredible game.

wow is wii u's current library really that bad? I would be mad if I bought it at launch or now in matter of a fact.
Out of those released I would buy

NSMBWii U +(maybe DLC)
Monster hunter 3 ultimate
Pikmin 3 (sequel to the best game ever)

 I would like to try but not sure if they are even good
Zombi U
COD:Ghosts (I really loved goldeneye)
Assassin's Creed 3/4 (I want to know what the all fuss is about
Watchdog(need a more realistic game to balance all my fantasy ones)
Wonderful 101 (It looks like pikmin )

 Future titles are like
Zelda Wii u (ONLY if it is more like twilight princess and less wind waker/skyward sword oh and motion plus is a must)
Mario kart 8
Super smash bros

Wii u is so average ugh

as planned? you didnt even know XL was coming out when you first got it. YOu were bashing 3DS front and center, we remember. And on I will not get Animal Crossing, i never liked those games.

I agree, but there will always be people who would never be interested in Nintendo or any games on their console no matter what they were to do.

The good news is that there are many people posting who aren't big Nintendo fans that are still interested in a game here or there, whether it be Zelda, X, Smash, or Bayonetta 2, who intend to jump in later when the library is more robust and the price drops to that highly accessible $199 (or lower) price.

As I've said many times, I believe the ratio of two-console owners for the 8th gen will be higher for 'WiiU + PS4' or 'WiiU + XB1' than it will be for 'PS4 + XB1'.
