There are so many reasons why... Bad advertisement, price, bad concept, none to zero 3rd party etc etc

tbh, I think it's too early to say which console is comming out on top in 2014. But how I see it now... No way it's going to be the WiiU.

Looking at what we know about software lineups so far, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Wii U. More games could be announced, which could change things obviously.

The op says why I think it will, it has a price advantage and known system sellers on the way. Also its advertising will increase on the big games release. PS4/One share most of there games with PS360 so many wont upgrade and the exclusives we know about arent huge sellers. I see those consoles starting slow next year and not taking off until the holidays.
