The Number of total PSPs in Japan was 15,992,525 (the 328.711 are already included.)

2DS wont sell in japan, at least no word of it (if i misinterpret your post my baddd)

It hasn't been announced for Japan yet, but the Western announcement was timed to coincide with PAX, something Japan doesn't care about. I expect the Japanese announcement to take place before TGS. The 2DS is definitely not Western-exclusive, and there's no reason for Nintendo not to release it alongside Pokémon in Japan as well.

I think this year it starts September 19. But somebody from Nintendo or Capcom said something that makes me think there will be a Nintendo Direct between now and the 14th.

wat? about that mystery game iwata mentioned(or the guy with him)? maybe megaman for WiiU! classic megaman, i mean he is in SSB!

That's it. As I said before, my suspicion is that the collaboration is a Capcom studio working on a Nintendo IP, not the other way around. But Mega Man is a possibility.
