HELL NO! They're coming just in time when all the best games have finished up on PS3 (LoU, Beyond, Puppeteer, GTA5, and Ratchet Nexus on top of it's legendary exclusives already so I can have the perfect rotation to go back to when PS4 has droughts in the Summer plus I get free games on + still). PS4 will make everything smoother as far as online and apps goes and I may even pick up that camera after seeing the precision in Playroom. I can't wait to see what ND, SSM, MM, and other Sony first parties can do on new hardware considering they are still wowing me on 8 year old tech. I never lost excitement this whole gen because I get excited for software not hardware really and now the software can be better than ever!

If you just enjoy the hype then you're doing it wrong but I guess you can enjoy the next few months and just remember to savor every moment.

Yeah only the handhelds really needed an update. The home consoles (all 3) could of waited another 2 years at least and i think the release of such big titles especially GTA and MGS so late in the generation proves developers weren't really ready for next gen. Because of such big titles for the 7th generation, i expect the PS4 and Xbox One to continue the really slow start laid out by Wii U, 3DS and PS Vita. Why upgrade when support for older hardware ain't dying out yet?

you've got an empty calender till about a month from now when SR4 comes out and if that sucks or isn't your thing then you've got until Puppeteer and then GTA5 to get things done.  Keep at it!  As for me I'm caught up other than polishing off my SR3 platinum so bring on the Fall releases and next GEN!

yeah im sad

sad that this gen is over missing all the hrs i spent on certain games this gen and posting as a console fanboy. i never really was a fanboy before or cared much about which console is doing/selling better it was this gen that it started for me b/c of the ps360 wars. also sad b/c it means time is going by, most cant really go back in time and experience the gaming revolutions we had this gen

but at least you can look forward to making newer experience and memories with the new gen

I'm sad that I won't be able to get the ps4 when I want to. I'm hoping to get it this time next year,but it's probably going to be toward the end of next year. stupid bills/reality. lol

I'm sad cause i survived another gen.. Starting to feel old...
