We don't have unlimited porn streams coming to regular TV unless we request it, so I don't think we should have porn coming though the web in that way. I don't have a problem with people watching porn, but the broadcast of it should be regulated. I like the idea of bringing some class to our culture. Also, lol at the horse cum girl thing. I remember back in the day a friend of mine playing that on his computer with a room of friends including a bunch of girls. Want to talk about a way to clear out a room quickly... |
What else should be regulated though? Is porn worse than swearing? Aren't 18+ non porn movies worse for children and teenagers? Shouldn't they be blocked first? If anything, as far as I'm concerned Miley Cyrus' latest video is much worse for a child to watch than porn (promotes a very promiscuou life and partying, doing drags etc) as well as many other things on youtube.
Hell they can watch people getting brutally killed or beaten down, but porn is the problem? Why not ask permission for that kind of videos?
As far as I'm concerned, a parent has an obligation to block porn if he/she doens't want his/her child to be exposed to it. SImple as that.

The agrument that something else is bad too is a terrible one. You're not actually saying that porn is good and kids should be able to watch it, you're just saying that other things are bad too, but that's an awful argument against regulating something that is harmful.
I think that hyper violence some some subject matter is bad too. I would support lots of stuff being regulated.
I'm an adult, I have not problem watching any of that stuff. I have no kids in my house. But I think it's a good thing that the default setting for internet viewing is that bad stuff is blocked, and that you have to request access, and not the other way around. Porn is an easy-to-define good place to start.
