Oh, I´m very familiar with Pikmin, it´s just that I´m not used to the gamepad feautures (they are without hyperbole  gamechangers).

I still find myself forgetting about the additions :D !

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to finish it, and to now 100% it?

you can't as far as I know but what you can do is create a second profile and start the game there as it creates a separate save file for every player

I'm like 3-4 hours into the game......and damn, I love it. It looks beautiful. Miyamoto games have that special kind of charme to it

Pikmin 3 is pure Nintendo magic. If you're still not convinced yet, you can watch these two videos in 1080p. Those give an accurate approximation of what to expect. 

Nintendo copying again...grr...

But although its an idiotic system, at least it's better than, say, Pokemon. There's ways to work around it.
