I've predicted 8 million for the sake of predictions and what not, but I'm really feeling like I'll be on the lower end of things. As you can see in my sig the XBONE isn't dropping as fast as I expected so that brings to question all my other predictions about the system. Right now today I'm feeling like 10 million sounds pretty good. It could certainly be winning America by a significant amount by then. Plus based off the beta Titanfall seems to be matching the hype.

All depends if MS do the right thing (business wise) and cut the price $100 along with Halo in September.


I think that'll be November, looking at 343's track record. Just for Black Friday sales.

Halo comes when MS says, not bungie or 343, so there isn't a pattern (that and there has only been Halo 4). I would be top dollar Halo 5 or whatever it is comes in September.

I voted 8m for the poll. I tend to predict conservatively, and I'm still not sure where XB1 will fall as the launch hype dies down and we get to the months where there aren't many game releases. While it does seem to have good momentum going, I think the price will slow it down a bit.

That's exactly what I did. I'm not good at making those predictions, I know it's going to fall, but no where near Wii U levels. 8 million seems like a fairly safe bet.

Indeed. Nowhere near WiiU levels. Likes of Titanfall, Halo and Fable will give meaningful bumps.

Could you imagine XBox One doing 220k in November Black Friday?

come on guys what are those half cocked predictions?????

it will launch almost globally by the end of the year.... even in the current state of things with the 2014 holiday bump we can almost guarantee a 10million number.... so with say 40+ more countries, the launch of major title and good E3 announcement I bet my man parts that we can go through 10m no problem... me I even predicted 13m because I'm sure we'll see either a price cut or a major holiday discount/bundle.... and with a little chance MS will be able to prove/show their media strength with the box...

Nah, people were predicting lower than confirmed numbers last time lol  I also did that one on purpose :P

And dont feel bad, i predicted 7m+ for WiiU last year.  Shows you how good of a hardware analyst i am haha
