Well if I was MS i would cut to 399 :P

But i think realistically they will cut to 449 and take a bit of loss or maintain there margins. Again i think the key point in this situation is that the Xbox One is already selling well.

If they cut to 399 it would be more a reaction to Sony and PS4. Making decisions based entirely on a competing product isnt the right way to go about things imo. Because you will always be on the back foot.

It sold great over the holiday, if it's higher than $399 september onwards this year it won't do well, and MS will be stupid not too. Then again they've shown resistance to price cutting last gen since 2008.

I think they have a short sharp shock coming if they think they will compete with PS4 competitively, it's going to get destroyed at $500. Hence I don't think they'll have much choice.

Even when they cut price it'll lose. This gen isn't about beating PS4, it's impossible imo. Just about keeping a close enough userbase and making money.

Well i gues we will have to see what happens.

I dont for a second think that PS4 has this gen locked down already. Way too early. After last gens back and fourth between the big 3 I say anything can happen

ugh -_-  Is it still on sale?

I prefer jrpg games on handhelds.  If it was for the vita i wouldve bought it instantly.

Have you ever played a Tales of game though? If you have and don't like it, I'll take full responsibility :)

Although, awhile back I remember reading that you didn't like Lost Odyssey... :0

I can agree with JRPG on handhelds. Check out Abyss 3DS, Fire Emblem Awakening, upcoming Bravely Default, and Persona 4. Also SMT 4 is something highly recommended, it has a very Pokemon (mature) like nature to it. I thoroughly enjoyed that game, I'd go out on a limb for that one.

I liked Lost Odyssey but i never finished it.  Got to disc two i believe and then stopped.  I just feel odd playing jrpg games on home consoles.  It is one of the reasons i want to figure out a way to remote play X360 and all of ps3 games with the Vita.  or something like that.    

I know there is a way to do it with the shield that i previosly talked about.

Nah ive never played a Tales game.  I nly like a few JRPG games a lot.  Pokemon and Person xD

Lost Odyssey and Ni No Kuni are pretty ok but dont grab me the same way.  Ive never enjoyed a FF game and havent played Fire Emblem Awakening.  Everybody says it is so amazing but i cant see myself liking a SRPG.

Right now i have my eyes on Persona Q for 3DS. 

Oh and someone mentioned this on VGC a while back but a game id like sony to make for the vita is Demon's Souls 2.  It would fit well since it is more linear than Dark Souls.

My 2013 GOTY. Absolutely loved it. The main characters were awesome, the battle system is deep and easy for newcomers to the series. The pairing and marriage system made the game very addictive. Graphics weren't the best and the feet were weird, but it's a great game. Not sure how much you like strategy games though.
