You have to keep in mind that for one, this game has already had several rereleases so many fans have already bought it multiple times, second the game is releasing around competition with Dragonball Xenoverse right around the corner and MKX coming out next month, and lastly Tecmo doesn't even seem to care much creating awareness for this game on X1 because it's the first game I've seen since the digital preorder feature went up for the system that never got one even a day before release.

About a year ago there were rumors about Team Ninja making PS4 exclusives. 


Oh. I still doubt it though.  VF6 on the other hand, maybe.

We know sony is paying for exclusives left and right, but doa and vf are too niche when they already got sf.

Rumors were about a new ninja gaiden ps4, they said they were making it internaly for ps4. But they didn't mention being exclusive, it was a interview for a jp magazine about ps4 after all.

That would also make me very sad. I only like 3 fighting series, DoA, VF, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja, and Naruto is seeing it's last release this year (CyberConnect has suggested that Storm 4 will be their last Naruto game), so that just leaves me with DoA and VF. If Xbox loses either VF or DoA that'd suck big time for me.

Never tried Tekken, though I've heard from friends that have played it that I wouldn't like it because the mechanics are too different from VF and DoA. I used to play Soul Calibur at a friend's house when I was in high school, it was ok. If Xbox loses either VF or DoA, Soul Calibur will possibly be my replacement.


Doubt VF or DOA will be exculsive. Ever. 

 

I wasn't a big fan SC but I do miss it.

I don't think Sega is dumb enough to make VF series exclusive to one platform at this day and age.
Especially when VF is superior to any 3D fighting game.

With Sega's finacials the way they are right now it's hard to tell what they'll do. They may be just as desperate as Capcom is.

I would love to watch a documentary or something, to know how Japanese game companies work.

I don't even think Stephen Hawking could solve their mystery.
