Why is tomb raider news coming back up again? Its giving me deja vu. We literally had these same exact arguments 4 months ago over the same statements (except people refused to believe MSFT was publishing)

But I really do have a question, if MSFT is publishing the game, does that mean that it has exclusive rights over that specific game meaning it can only appear on PC and Xbox consoles? Dead Rising 3 never showed up on the PS4 and I assume they had a similar deal. Just curious because my friend is in *I hate Microsoft for ruining Tomb Raider for me* mode :P

Nobody knows except MS and Square Enix, all we can do is speculate as to if it remains only on Xbox or makes it way to PS4.

Just as a quick aside, I've noticed that there's been a few...well, let's say "interesting" posts in this thread over the past day or so. Some users have already been moderated for them, but personally I don't want to do that and I'm sure you guys don't either. So just remember that this thread isn't your personal diary, and it's not the place to vent about other threads/users/trends. If it's moddable elsewhere then it will be here, too. After a discussion with other mods, no further action will be taken because you guys are awesome, and the work that Jay puts into his thread is mighty impressive. Perhaps something to bear in mind in the future however.

I know, I know, this has been said several times before. This isn't an attack on the thread, anyone in the thread or anything else ofcourse. It's just a note because I think that you guys would rather us all work together, than just come in and ban everyone who strays over the line. I don't really think there's anything else which needs to be said on the matter.

In more Xbox related news, finally "finished" SO this morning. What an excellent title. Anyone know if there's any word on a sequel?

Finally with regards to the Tomb Raider thing, the whole thing seems like a bit of a mess to me. If it's Xbox exclusive then great, I'll be getting it on XOne anyway. And if MS are publishing it, then hopefully it'll be excellent (or better than it already is anyway). It's a win win for me! I doubt many people share that view though...

I ordered my copy of Sunset Overdrive recently, it might come in the mail today. Very excited! I haven't heard anything about a sequel, just the DLC.

I hope to play through it before next week, I have one hell of a busy week next week and I know I won't have time for games =/

Not necessarily.  It may or may not be.  Typically games published by Sony or Microsoft stays exclusive unless the owner of the IP works around it.  However its already been stated that the deal has a duration so it could go to PS4 as well.  Then on another note Microsoft said the deal was similar to Dead Rising 3 which means Xbox/PC.  So in the end its an unknown, could go either way

You guys should try to comment more often outside of this forum. I have been looking through the Xbox Empire thread for a while and I notice that some of you mostly comment only here. It would be more enjoyable if some of you guys would go to other threads and have other discussions on different subjects. Yes I know that there isn't that much of us xbox fans on vgchartz but I am pretty sure some of us have a Nintendo or Playstation console. This way we show that there are actually xbox fans in this site. I don't want to be the only few that actually comments outside of this thread.
