And you know TR has a following. That's the idea, get the game people will buy a console for. Grow the base.

Neither will badly be effected.  Microsoft is publishing Tomb Raider and helping in developement.  Square Enix was not happy with the original in terms of sales.  MSFT took lead and likely eased the decision of making Tomb Raider and making it more cost efficient.

Street Fighter V also did not have the budget.  Capcom especially is in trouble.   However Sony doesnt appear to be publishing it (at this moment) so im assuming Sony didnt take complete control.  

However theyre both going to miss out on sales, though i expect both will be timed console exclusives as well.  I really dont find it a bad move in either case, smart in fact

Yeah, they are probably still cheap and No Man's Sky does get crazy hype which will sell the game  alone. If i will get good scores (No idea, it's a gigantic game with nice looking worlds but the gameplay looks kinda boring to me) it will sell even more and Sony will have a potential new successful franchise. A No Man's Sky 2 with many more resources could be really big then also in the gameplay department. 

It's probably a not too expensive purchase considering that you buy the game and potential future releases away from other platforms and that you have something for the future. And if it won't work, hey, the company has only a few employees, costs won't be too high after the release even if they will fail with whatever they do afterwards (as long as you won't increase the number of employees by a huge margin)

That is pretty cool theyre releasing the prototype of Inquest. If people like it maybe they can actually finish it. And that sure sounded like a hint at making Black & White 3 to me lol

Slightly more than I expected. I estimated X1 at 110k and PS4 at 105k. We heard that all consoles combined sold 300k...so only 60k for all the rest? Ouch
