Many types of terrain, many cities to race in, objectives to find, places to explore, highways and many other features that come with the open world, as long as it's online integration come on.....
It looks like an NFS clone in almost every way possible from what I saw. So, not really excited since I can just go play NFS which has some crazy production value and gameplay.

:O Damn, you're right. I'm re-watching the demo now, and I'm seeing all sorts of things to like. The controls seem to be right up my alley, and some of the features (like races between entirely different vehicle types) sound pretty neat. . I dunno why, but I never really gave this title much thought after Ubi's conference. Maybe I was too busy being disappointed by all the lackluster stuff to remember the interesting announcements. I don't see it taking Motorstorm's place as my favorite non-cart racer, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this from now on.

It takes two hours to go coast to coast with one of the fastest cars in the games.
Lets say that on average the car was going at 200 km/ hour in 2 hours it would have traveled a distance of 400. Since it is the united states then what the width is what 1/4th its length. So the total area would be 40,000 square meters.
Far from the exact math but you can understand how big it is.

So 2 hours to go from one end of the map to the other end? Going in a straight line with the fastest car...Find that hard to believe but I will take your world for it.
I actually have always thought it would be cool if someone did something like this--and no, despite being awesome, Cruisin' USA doesn't count. Thanks for sharing, I might pick this up.

Heard the devs saying it in multiple videos, just watch gamespots stage demo for the game. Yes it is hard to believe, one of the reasons i am excited for this game.
