First I was like "meh," but when they said you could (essentially) traverse the entirety of the US, I became...somewhat interested. Still, the only racing titles I can get hyped for are Mario Kart and Motorstorm/offroad racing titles.

Ok, that's a matter of personal preference. You're also disregarding to connectivity of the game. Sharing the world with every other player.

How is it funny? Just because you don't "get it" nobody else can?

I only need 1racer every 1 or 2 years, so looks like the crew is falling off.. unless they prove me wrong.

The US contains LOTS of offroad racing opportunities. You can drive anywhere you want

That's not saying "no, I'm not interested for reason such and such." That's a pathetic attempt at bashing it, and making a fool out of yourself in the process 

I didn't directly say no but I would have assumed someone like you would have understood that I was uninterested in a game like this. First I critiqued the graphics of the game which means I believe it is not up to par of other next gen racers such as Forza and Drive Club then I critiqued the open aspect of the game saying that it's difficult for me to find excitement for the game when an open world racer isn't exactly very fresh. But then again it is a racer and there's not much you can innovate in these type of games so I can understand my lack of excitement for it.

open world driving game, with possibly the biggest open world of any video game yet by far, with online running at the same time. Yes graphically its not impressive, but look at its world.

Have they said how big the world is? 

So far, nope. Nothing to be excited over in my eyes. But I will keep my eyes on the title. It may manifest into something interesting. For now my eyes are squarely on DriveClub and GT6, but I am keeping an open mind towards the Crew and the new NFS game.
