During Nintendo of Europe's surprise Nintendo Direct Mini broadcast, the company revealed that customers who purchase a download copy of Pikmin 3 will receive a fantastic 30 per cent discount on the highly anticipated The Wonderful 101 on the eShop.
Satoru Shibata, President of Nintendo of Europe, announced that the offer will run from Pikmin 3's release up until the 21st September. If you were planning on picking up both games, this seems like a tempting option.
Pikmin 3 launches across Europe next week, on 26th July, while The Wonderful 101 is released on 23rd August.

Really great deal but I want boxed copies of both games so I'll probably not take advantage of it.

So NA gets games later AND our promotion for Pikmin3 is being able to download it a day early IF we travel to a gamestop hosting the preview this weekend.

And EU gets 30% off another great game all the while launching earlier.

Very tempting and I planned on buying W101 digital too and a Wii U next month if my plans go well, maybe I should skip Lego City for awhile after all.

And my retail pre-order of Pikmin 3 has a 65% discount on The Wonderful 101 (UK exclusive).

But I don't think Europeans got $30 eShop credit for registering both Fire Emblem and SMT IV. The promotions balance out.

Good job, Nintendo cross promoting two games rather then just sending them out there to die with the lesser known property released later and with smaller fan fare.
