Honestly, that doesn't make much sense.  You do not have to create an outlier to counter another outlier.  This isn't a thread about averaging, this is a thread about your honest opinion on how much it will sell FW.

you took offence because i scored it low (to counter those that scored it too high), just for fun, since being way off base or spot on makes no difference what so ever, i see that, and if putting such a low number genuinely hurt your feelings, i appologise.

However, my guess was no more wrong than those that guessed over 160k, I dont see you giving them grief for being drastically wrong with their estimates, because to you a high estimate, no matter how wrong, doesnt rub you the wrong way, and for the record, mine wasnt even the lowest estimate in the thread.

I don't know if it is intentional, but you're being condescending.  You were targeted because you were undeniably wrong (with proof) and I tend to target people who are wrong.

However, your guess is more wrong than those who guessed over 160k.  Your guess was guaranteed wrong given the information we had at the time you guessed it.  
Also, I would have reacted in a similar fasion if, for example, someone guessed something like 500k and there was a statement where the game only shipped 300k copies I would have known it was wrong.  That's how your guess was like.

The guy who guessed lower than you, I have seen him around here plenty.  You are new, I don't know you.  I knew he was joking.

Then it was your judgement call over my random lowball guess, in which case we are both wrong.

I don't understand the purpose of this argument. Nyleveia was off the mark along with many others, so that should be the end of story unless he's denying that he was wrong which I don't think is the case. I sure hope I don't get ratted on like this if my rather high M&L:DT prediction doesn't come true. D:

The argument wasn't over him being off the mark.  It was over the prediction being made post a chart being released that had definite proof it was an incorrect prediction.  It would have just ended with my first remark asking if he was being serious if it didn't continue into all the mess you can read for yourself in the predictions thread.

Alright, now I actually read through the whole thing rather than just skimming it hehe. If that chart was 100% correct no doubt about it, then it's true that his prediction was wrong to begin with. It seems he's admitted this in his last post, so I guess we can all move ons.
