The argument wasn't over him being off the mark. It was over the prediction being made post a chart being released that had definite proof it was an incorrect prediction. It would have just ended with my first remark asking if he was being serious if it didn't continue into all the mess you can read for yourself in the predictions thread.

Alright, now I actually read through the whole thing rather than just skimming it hehe. If that chart was 100% correct no doubt about it, then it's true that his prediction was wrong to begin with. It seems he's admitted this in his last post, so I guess we can all move ons.
