This is how it goes all the time, It's funny they aren't even trying hide the racism and bias at this point just put them all behind bars or in a casket. That's the Good ol' Boys for you and if you need any proof just check out the Zimmerman thread for the filth.

SMH people are still calling Trayvon a thug. People can't put aside their racism for a second; they can go fuck themselves if they see Trayvon as anything else other than the victim. I think Florida as East coast,  but something shitty always happens to remind that it's the fucking south and I got  to leave.

yes cause the south is known for its brown on black crime

perhaps instead of jumping on someone who can only do their job, why not take aim at the legislater that made these laws. Or the government that is so hell bent on damming guns that laws with these kinds of consequences are made. Or its just easier to call judges racist and ask for their deaths, the jury should die too i suppose?

Alexander's case has drawn support from domestic abuse advocates - and comparison to the case of neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, who has claimed a "Stand Your Ground" defense in his fatal shooting of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman was not a stand your ground case. it was just self defence. different types of cases and defense. the cases cant really be compared.

This is what happens when kneejerk reactions are made and laws are put in place with out thinking them through. Judges and Jury's cant write the law, only follow it.

They do compare since guns were used in both cases. She hurt nobody and she is going away for 20 years. And he murdered someone and gets off free. Before you take into account the laws this just seems racist. And after the laws come in its just stupid.

Putting race into everyting is the problem. The law was not made to allow hispanic people to shoot black people, nor was it meant to punish black women who shoot at their abusers. These were 2 very different cases, with the only thing in comon being the use of gun. I dont see the point in compariung, especially when the opening articles contain massive incorrect information. Such as the laws being used to prosecute each person. I am going to bet that the woman was not in the process of beging beaten the time she shot her ex. I could be wrong, unfortunalty the article does not actually mention what happended.

Why? It's not the judge's fault. The matter was out of his hands. Blame Jeb Bush and the Florida legislature.

I know nothing about this case, but the headline of this thread - and the reporting - is completely bias. It shouldn't say "Mom gets 20 years for firing warning shots", it should say "Woman gets 20 years for attempting to shoot husband". The wording is designed to slant your view of the situation.

Since 90% of the jury is stupid by default   why not?

Sorry but as far as I know  "The judge should get executed for being part of the 90% of stupid humanity."   Doesn't include "judge is racist" at all.

Plus the judge is not forced to make the mom get 20 years at all  it was his decision to do so. Noone is stopping the judge from leaving the court. And noone is forcing the replacement judge from doing the same. He just chose to be a brainless tool.

I have enough disrespect for governments they are stupid because they are not in touch with reality they dont have a clue whats actually happening so I can just partially blame them. The real problem is that there is "middlemen".

(For example when you work at a company and you have a problem  you most likely have to report to your superior.  The thing is that only the boss of the company might fix the problem  but since there is the "middleman" the boss has no idea whats going on and the "middleman" does not want to bother the boss because he is a lazy scary bastard. I mean people get fired for directly talking to the boss instead of their superior pfft.......)

The judge on the other hand is directly involved and can and should not participate in this bullshit.  But because people are scared and are selfish they say "I will just act like a puppet because I don't want to risk my job". It does not matter if other someones future gets destroyed or not.

florida, huh? didn't they just pass a law that accidentely outlawed all computers?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’
