I don't think this Zimmerman guy intended to kill anyone, I think he probably just panicked, but there's a reason police officers are trained to do that job, and not just some random dude off the street.

Whether or not Travyon was an angel or not is irrelevant, he was simply walking home, but basically the bottom line is a kid is dead when he shouldn't be.

Don't play police officer if you're not a freaking cop, especially towards random people on the street. Well intentioned or not, you're not trained for that situation, nor can you be identified as a officer of the law in case things get heated.

This Zimmerman guy is a freaking idiot IMO for disregarding the 911 dispatcher and thinking he was playing cops and robbers.

And what's the deal with Florida anyway? You can kill kids and get off scott free, lol. Hello Casey Anthony.

Exactly... except... none of that happened.

Zimmerman didnt play cops and robbers. Zimmerman knew what his job was and he did exactly what he did the other times he called the cops. Except this time he was following him through the walking area.  He also listened to the 911 dispatcher

lesson of the day. make sure to kill your stalked victim so the jury will only get to hear your one sided stories. muggers and pedophiles out there, take notes

Id think lesson of the day would be to not assault someone you dont know because they may have a firearm and willing to defend their life. Zimmerman didn't stalk anyone. that was sensationalism by the prosecution because they had no evidence. I mean for fuck sake how can it be stalking when he was cooperating with the police and saying "hey I'm following this suspicious looking individual." The answer? It cant be.

O'Mara also asked Serino, "Did you think there was anything wrong with Mr. Zimmerman following Trayvon Martin?"

Serino replied, "Legally speaking, no."

Wait isn't stalking against the law? Why yes, yes it is... if Zimmerman stalked trayvon legally speaking there would have been something wrong with it.

My friend posted a youtube video of a riot happening right now in NYC regarding the Zimmerman case.

When Times Square looks like this, and its not on the news then something is wrong.

I wanted to see some videos of the riots

I heard that it's not as bad as expected but there were still some

IMO this is a situation where you need to be trained as a police officer to know what the hell you're doing. You also need to be in this situation identifiable as a police officer.

The 911 dispatcher told him to go follow the suspect? Really? If so, that's two people not using any common sense.

If you're not a freaking actual police officer and have no real police training, then approaching/following private citizens on suspcion of criminal activity armed with a weapon is "playing cops and robbers" as far as I'm concerned.

Stay in your car and let people who are actually trained for that situation to handle it, even if the kid is a robber, possessions can be replaced or reimbursed, someone's life cannot.

17 year old at 160 pound can't be that much stronger than a 185 pound 28 year old can he?

Why not? Even then, Zimmerman was a pudge. This is not a weight lifting contest, though, so I don't see what who's stronger has to do with it. Especially if Zimmerman's claim that Martin sucker punched him is true. Martin was simply large enough, full stop. The boxing style "tale of the tape" bullshit is just that. Bullshit.

I feel like the people argueing this just haven't seen many fights....

a 17 160 pound kid could totally kick the ass of an 185 pound 28 year old.

I've seen people get their assed kicked with a bigger weight advantage.   I mean hell....

A lot with fights has to do with mentallity.  Some people just freeze up and take a beating when hit.

Hence the saying "Everybody has a plan until they're punched in the face"

Lol that dude is fat

his weight advantage was almost meaningless. Look how slow he was moving. Each fighter has a gameplan when they step in the ring and that usually changes when you get hit by something vicious. A lot of fighters found that out when they felt the power of fighters like Mike Tyson or Manny Pacquiao.

The asian guy had a good gameplan and he just simply executed it well.

Zimmerman was fit and was supposedly taking MMS classes for a few weeks before the incident

It's not about him losing the fight

We have 2 scenarios. Zimmerman simply grabbed Trayvon and tried to hold him until the police got there(this is what i believe happened). Or Zimmerman got hit and was just trying to get Trayvon off off of him.

I dont believe he actually tried to fight Trayvon.

I believe he grabbed Trayvon and he started punching him for him to let go but Zimmerman kept his firm grip in hopeshopes that the police would get there in time. Zimmerman was screaming for somebody to come help him hold Trayvon down because he was getting beat being that he wouldn't let go so he ultimately shot him.

This is what i believe happened but yea im sure Zimmerman never swung a single punch in that scuffle.

I think i'm about done with this though because all this other info keeps coming and i just dont care to see it lol like Zimmerman not having a perfect record either and what not

But i believe he was trying to hold Trayvon and Trayvon was taking off on him because he wouldn't let go lol

It's cool if anybody else believes that Trayvon sucker  punched him since there isn't much evidence except for Jeantels words. All we really have is speculation.

But yea, i dont think Zimmerman actually tried to "fight" Trayvon back

No offense but that doesn't make any sense.  Why would he not try and fight back... and then just shoot the kid?   I mean, if he didn't want to use force at any point why would he go from "I'm not using any force" to "fuck i'm going to shoot this kid".

I'm not really sure how to put this in a non-offensive term... but more or less he just has a "bitch" reflex.

For an example you can teach a bullied kid all the martial arts in the world, but if he doesn't have the attitude to stand up for himself, he's going to get his ass kicked by any bully who just has the mindset of a buly.

One hit and all that training goes away.

I imagine that's what happened, once the physical confrontation started (who started it?  Who knows)  Zimmerman froze up and got his ass kicked, freaked out and shot Martin.

It's probably why he wanted to be  a cop.  To prove to himself he'd gotten past being the kind of person that gets picked on.  It was probably the scared child in Zimmerman that caused the death of Martin.

Idk why but it just seems like he didn't try to fight him back. There were no marks on Trayvon and Zimmerman said that he wanted to stop Trayvon from hitting his head on the ground. It sounded like he was trying to hold or restrict him from being able to punch him. I could be wrong but i dont believe that Zimmerman ever said that he actually fought Trayvon back.

Regarding the last bit, that's pretty much what I think happened too.

But a kid (good or bad) shouldn't have to pay a price of their life because an individual was trying to prove something to himself (well intentioned or not).

If you're a "scared little child" deep down, don't walk around pretending to play a role that should be handled by a fully trained and identifiable police officer. There's a reason why police officers recieve training to handle situations like this.
