God forbid you will actually use it for the convienence.

Voice search marketplace, skype with ppl, headset free voice commands in gaming.

I mean cmon, some gamers mindsets...... Like a bunch of seniors that refuse to embrace modern conveniences.

Yeah! The Kinect 2.0 is such an awesome device because it spies on me! NSA is genius..........not.

Tin hat is strong with you I see.......like MS cares what you do.I feel sorry for you if this is what you really feel that this was MS's top priority.

Its bundled to have 100% adoption rate unlike kinect for 360 which split the userbase. Now ALL games can have some form of kinect integration and all people have access to them.

Too bad because I will join the thousands  of people who won't buy the Xbox One.

lol aren't you trendy and special. Be honest: your fishing for an excuse...you were never going to buy one.

This is about 100% user base adoption and integration with the games/media. This paranoid crap really shows someones true colors. And its startling just how many people think their average lives matter to the government.....nevermind MS who doesn't care at all.

No, this is

Nah i think the goal was to make Kinect a more viable platform to develop for since every Xbone owner will have one.

Still defending the Xbox eh.

Even though the OP's posts reads like one of a raving loony he does have a point about being pushed tailored ads or monitoring viewing habbits. Every company's goal is to get information.

Get off your high horse, implying the console isn't worth defending. I happen to like it for the games its offers.

But many companys, notably cable companies with their cable boxs, do it now. It is just the way it is. Might as well use the kinect for the convienence it offers.

So you'd buy a device that gathers information on you just because it's "convenient"....

ok then....

Id buy it for the games, while appreciating the convience the voice commands and camera provide.

your take on it just seems......wrong and not the point.

Personally i think being forced to use it is a bit controlling. Especially when coupled with the previous "always online" thing they had going on.

How consumers can still trust Microsoft after pulling this off baffles me. Although based on your post history it doesn't surprise me that you'd defend anything with a MS sticker on.

Not everyone is as untrusting/paranoid as everyone else? It's not hard to understand.

Hell, I am so trusting, I even put my debit card info back on my PSN profile.

Your forced to buy it but can configure it accordingly. But im sure you knew that.

Trust? You buy a gaming console for the games. And for the record, when was MS NOT labelled anti consumer? Live Gold since 2002. 360 with RROD (yet 360 selling 75+ million consoles). You definately put more thought into a console maker then regular gamers should.

I defend the console for its games, which are being overlooked by paranoia and polocies that have been reversed. You are acting overly smug and entitled out of some misplaced sense of principle. Its video games.......videogames.
