I've never owned an Xbox before, so technically they can't even win me back. But as long as their major advertized IP's stay GoW, Halo and Forza I won't ever buy an Xbox.

Haven't touched anything Microsoft for 10 years, never looked back, never dogged by DRm, never dogged by stupid updates, never dogged by subscriptions, never dogged by silly customer service, never dogged by consoles breaking/OS's faltering, never dogged by getting ripped off, never dogged by monkey man

"...the best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

"Hey, Steve, just because you broke into Xerox's house before I did and took the TV doesn't mean I can't go in later and take the stereo." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.

""Windows [n.] - A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.""

You make -0 sense. Just spare some characters and say that you don't like MS and Xbox brand.

I pretty much agree with lamerking
except I personally don't think a 100 bucks more is that big of deal (for me it sure is going to be a problem to win sales but marketing close to launch can do a lot about that towards casual and people that watch a lot of TV movies)....
I actually find console/PC generally cheap compared to other devices like TVs, smartphone in regards of the tech they offer....
I'm actually impressed the PS4 is that cheap.... and while yeah the Kinect is probably around 150-200 to produce for MS.... it's probably more like a 400-500 piece of tech if you take in consideration R&D and compare it to other high end tracking tech produced by other market....

I've never owned a Xbox, so...

Nothing, they are already offering a superior next gen package in my eyes, though not for the price. But Xbone will most certainly be the first next-gen console I purchase. Titanfall day one.

Sony just has no interesting games and no interesting new features that sets PS4 apart from the PS3 at all imho.

Go third party.

they never had me in the first place but I would respect them if they sell banjo, conker, killer instinct and jet force gemini back to nintendo.

The thing I don't get with everyone saying remove kinect are the same people that will just say well now its the same price as the ps4 and its weaker so they still lose. So why would ms listen to them?

MS isn't listening to them because MS never listens until they are driven to the brink of failure. MS was planning on ignoring us before as Yusuf said before in defending DRM, but they don't care then neither do I. Give me the games, MS as a company isn't that great with consumers. Knowing Microsofts mentality, they know most people wouldn't buy the Kinect two at launch so they more than likely force bundled it so the MS faithful will buy it. The casuals are those of whom the Kinect is meant for and they will not buy a $500 console, let alone a $400 console if it doesn't fit their lifestyle. Sony knows they cannot force the PSEye on people and they never have since 2004 when they started the camera motion control trend.

Sell the entire Xbox Brand and Microsoft Studios to Sony. Heheheh.

Take away Xbox Live and Halo...and there kind of isn't anything else Sony would need.
