It's decent with a Radeon 7730M. (Comparable to a Desktop Radeon 7750, possibly with slower clocks though.)
Would it be enough for gaming at a native 1080P? That's the real question and possibly with some stuff turned down.

I would still ditch the Hard Drive on any notebook you get, 5400rpm drives are like pulling hair out of a cat, replace it with an SSD or 7200rpm drive and then you're cooking with gas.

Well it really doesn't matter to me if I can't run a game at native 1080p. It doesn't even bother me too much when I play games at lowest settings (such as Skyrim). 

Also what do you mean ditch the hard drive? I don't know much about computers so I don't understand what you mean when you say 5400 rpm or 7200 rpm etc.

Alright. Hard Drives are essentially a magnetic disc inside of a metal enclosure with a fixed amount of rotational speed.
Essentially it takes more time for a 5400rpm drive to rotate the disc to access data than a 7200rpm drive.
Higher the rpm, the better generally.
rpm = Rotations Per Minuit.

5400rpm drives are plain horrible and can leave you frustrated waiting for things to load, unfortunately in the laptop world 5400rpm drives are pretty much in every Laptop and is the sole reason why they feel slow.
But, they are cheap. :)

Worst thing though is plonking down a massive wad of cash for a new system, loading it up with a few programs and then realizing it doesn't feel any faster than your old machine. :P
With the old drive, whack it into an external hard drive enclosure for backups. :)

Having a 7200 RPM Hard Drive will make your computer noticably faster, and you'd be glad you got it. For a laptop you probably wouldn't want to go over 7200, otherwise you could run into overheating problems

But either way, I think It's pretty simple to change the hard drive on a laptop, there are instructions all over the internet.

Looks like the 7730M beats out the other one in several games. Beyond that, the Dell has more memory, more harddrive space, and a full HD screen vs 900p. It's a better option IMO.

This is the one I'm going to end up getting (Going to guys house today). It's brand new and I got him to go down to 560$, no tax or anything. It's super similar to the other Dell Laptop I was interested in except that the Processor is a little weaker. What do you think? For 560$ I think it's pretty damn good.
