THIS! none of the games shown have strike me as must have so it will take a few to get me to buy one

I would really like to see how they handle SMT x FE.

not really a big fan of those types of games so it wouldnt do anything for me personally, but i hoep it turns out ok

I really am hoping for some kind of big surprise out of the title.  I can't really imagine how they plan on doing the crossover, but they didn't show anything from it for a while now... so I only hope it's something big.

i dont see it being more than another 3ds game IMO, id be shock if it was for WII U

Smash Bros, it's really the one and only game I want/need for the Wii U.

none of those games unless they evolve over their predecessors.

Mario Kart looks like it will improve on Wii and 7,

DK looks like it will improve.

X also.

Zelda will also improve over SS (not that hard tbh).

SSB 4 will improve.

Pikmin 3 will improve.

Bayonetta 2 will improve.

Don't know what you are talking about tbh.

EDIT: also, I wonder why everybody always forgets SMT x FE. I guess cause we didn't see gameplay yet.

I want real evolution not small ones. Look at what naughty dog did with last of us for example. Starfox, Metroid, Zelda, X coudl all benefit form a huge evolution.

I love how Nintendo always has to revelutionize on franchises and genres just because they are Nintendo....

Well Nintendo set the bar pretty high for themselves so they should be expecting that people want more form them.

Using my previous example of Halo, look how that has evovled over the years and this is from a company that was never focused on gaming which is even that mroe remarkable. Now compare that to star fox  or metroid for example, both those franchises have the name, the characters and endless posibilities should Nintendo choose to do somehting fantastic with them. These two franchises need to become like a mario kart or a smash were everyone who owns a Nintendo console wants them.

In a way I am glad that they ackknowledged skyrim as a master piece, it may inspire them to make the new zelda bigger and better.

I thought it was confirmed to be a Wii U game?

Why do Nintendo games have the console name in the game title like Wii, Super and 64?

That always made me courious.

SSB, Mk or Zelda, whichever comes first. Windwaker HD is *not enough* although the holiday lineup tempts me. Mario +DK + WW HD is good enough especially with the future lineup being quite impressive.

At this point I don't know if anything will get me to ever buy a WiiU. Which is sad because I greatly love my Wii.

I am leaning towards getting a 3DS, especially if it continues to have all the same games as WiiU (Mario Kart, NSMB, Mario World, Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, etc.)

It was different with Wii/DS as I preferred the multiplayer nature and motion controls of Wii over single-player hand cramping DS controls but WiiU is more focused on single play with a similar controller, so I might as well save money, and have total off TV freedom with 3DS.

There is simply no announced WiiU game that I can't get a similar experience on 3DS (except X but I still have to finish Xenoblade anyway) that is of any interest to me and I far prefer the wiimote/nunchuk over the gamepad.

However, if they patch WiiU to allow Wii games (with can be played via pro/gamecube controllers) to play off the gamepad (off tv) especially VC/WW titles, then I'd go get one immediately following a price cut.

Endless Ocean in HD or Metroid Prime HD (new in both cases) would be tempting but not enough until WiiU is much cheaper.
