If people are going to criticize Iwata and start calling for him to be sacked the are several bits of reality they should factor in, first being a new person in charge doesn't mean he'll do what you want the company to do, secondly is that the's a lot more going on then what gamers choose to see as well as can see. When you're higher up you can see a bigger picture, to make a comparison it's like someone being on top of a building with gamers being the people on the ground, from up there you can see a lot more of the area unlike the limited view of people on ground level.

Someone higher up has to operate according to as much of the picture as they see not to the limited view, a lot of what people don't see plays a pivotal part in how someone in charge will operate, right now it just comes across more as those who wanted blood during the 3DS early days are turning up for a second wind after earlier being flashed out in spectacular fashion. If the PS4 and XBO runs into the same problems it'll be interesting to see if the same critics berate them as well.
