Well under Don the Xbox was gonna take a horrible turn. So good riddance if he encouraged that decision. Also, he's working for Zynga now so he doesn't care about games.

Finally get my password back

And no,the title is a bit misleading,she will lead the hardware division if really have some restructuring,not just Xbox division,then there will be someone become new leader of Xbox division and reporting to her or ballmer

 

Not sure why it's bad news btw,unless she will suddnely close all MS game studios or fire Phil Spencer

Granted, the last 50 days has been arguably the worst period in Xbox history, but in the grand scheme of things Don has been brilliant.

Xbox could really benefit from a female perspective. Who knows.

If you want the broader, mass market to buy your product, you don't want a someone whos been in gaming their whole working life, you want an outside opinion.

Xbox division still has many gaming execs, but she has the potential to successfully market to 2 markets at once



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

sometimes a new perspective is good. even if she doesnt have game experience. I have been happy with what the hardware side of MS has been doing, so hopefully I'll be happy with what she does fr the xbox. Hopefully it will bring more synergy between devices (xbox one, tablets, pcs, and phones)
