I completely disagree. Xbox 1 will probably beat the WiiU but certainly not the PS4.

PS4 will have outsold the Wii-U by the end of next year.

Sorry everybody, I was busy and couldn't post. I want to respond to many of you but can't...

PS2 wasn't just a more powerful PS. It added in DVD support which was major back then. It also had 90% of the 3rd party games all to itself. PS4 won't have that clear advantage.

My prediction is much more likely than yours. Do you really believe that will happen? It will have supply issues for one.

Someone stated they could make 1 million a month after going into full production. If that's the case that wouldnt cause production/sales problems? I mean if by Sep-dec thats 4 million and 12 million for the next year... 16million, sound enough?

How much did the PS3/Xbox sell first year?

Here in the UK it's become sony land again. 

Just looking at pre order rankings and speaking to people here tells the story. On Amazon the PS4 is the third best seller of 2013 where as the Xbox One is 48th. 

In the USA the PS4 is third and the Xbox One is sixth. Massive difference.

Well maybe by March 2015 then. Wii-U is currently tracking behind the Gamecube and that sold over 13 million two years in and 14.5 million by march after that. Even the very expensive PS3 sold over 10 million within a year and almost 13 million by march after. That means that unless Wii-U sales pick up substantialy PS4 only has to outsell the PS3 by 20%-30% to outsell Wii-U by that time. At $399 that should be a walk in the park.

I think ps4 will win wordwide. The wiiu is having obvious difficulties, and as much as I want it to be a success, I don't think it will change anytime soon. The xbox one will certainly lose in Japan. I can't see it win in Europe, because that's been sony land for 3 generations in a row. So that leaves America, and while it's possible the xbox one will win there, I don't think it will be by a large margin if it wins. Xbox is a strong brand in the us, but playstation was a strong brand there too in the past and to a certain degree it still is. Furthermore things are different this generation. The xbox won't have a year headstart, and it won't have a lower price either like the 360 had during the entire generation. This will probably result in a close battle in the us, thus resulting in the victory for the ps4 worldwide.

PS4 its cheaper and more powerful, they will have 90-95% the same library of games due to third parties. Mass market consumers are not idiots and there not loyal.

There also replaced every 10 years by a new generation of children who dont give two shits what there older siblings parents use to play on.
