What im thinking is that the Xbox1 will sell 1 million or less at launch and the PS4 2 millions or a slightly more.

I think both of them will sell less than the Wii U did at launch, because of the price and the fact they are competing with each other ( for the same customers).

Lifetime sales, it might be x4. I dont expect Xbox1 to sell as much as the 360 but slightly around what the first Xbox did.

Because by the year 2023 people won't want dedicated gaming boxes taking up space. Everything will be cloud based.

No.
If Xbox 1's sales suck, then MS will do something about it, probably by decreasing the price below the PS4. But I think its quite obvious that the PS4 will win this generation (unless Sony makes some big mistakes).

im always baffled about people interest in what console sells more and what number.   now if i had stock in a company and my portfolio depended on its success sure.  but just because?  help me to understand that logic.  i pretty much only visit these groups to see news about the consoles and apparently get banned lol

The size of the install base makes a world of difference to the breath and especially the variety of releases on that console. Compare the libraries of really successful consoles to the libraries of failed consoles. As a gamer, you should care.
