Are you sure you quoted the right person? You're talking about masses and consumers shopping habbits... I made it clear that I am not talking about that but my self personally.

There may be people who are just getting an X360 and these sales are great for them, great for them...but that isn't me.

There is no way to get around the fact that Microsoft screwed up by not offering backwards compatibility for digital downloads. If they wanted people like me, who are the ones that buy a 500 dollars console on day 1, to keep buying their digital X360 games, they needed to provide the ability for these games to trully digital, and not tied to a console.

The forums operate in a TOTAL consumer shopping habbit vaccum when it comes to consoles.  There is not a single metric on these forums that even approaches what will happen with the layman consumer.

They should have done this at launch. I'm glad their doing it now though even though I don't use my 360 anymore.

This is what we call "an old stock" burner.  MS after only 2 gens has learned what all the others have missed figuring out.

Yes, it seems like these forums and majority of arguments are based on a governing body of gamers based on socialist principles... The greater good for all or it doesn't work for anyone!

Not a bad sale ended up buying Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Bulletstorm, Forza Horizon, and Left 4 Dead 2. Oh and I also just bought State of Decay but that wasn't in the sale, thought I'd just mention that little gem.

Great game! I'm on my 2nd playthrough...

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
