I don't know why they bother with this, way too late for this.
But who knows, maybe they are testing waters to see if less action and more frights can still sell and return to the franchise some of its former glory.
Please excuse my bad English.

Just be careful: advanced enemy intelligence uses squad-based tactics to try and stop you. That’s no sweat off Agent 47′s bald head though is it? Hitman: Contracts will run you $6.99.
No more patience – Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available to all comers. Well, provided those comers are coming from North America.
Blizzard and Chinese partner Netease are reportedly suing the company behind Legend of Crouching Dragon, a Chinese mobile title accused of ripping off Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
World of Tanks has more than a few fans worldwide, but it's in Russia where the online tank-on-tank extravaganza has its most ardent fans. Last year WoT set a new record for most concurrent players in one server, a Russian one of course, with over 190,000 players in Russia fighting each other.
Back then Wargaming boasted a peak concurrent user figure of over 800,00 in Russia alone, but as of January 19th, it's smashed that figure into the ground, presumably with a tank shell.
The upside of War Thunder’s long-awaited Ground Forces expansion is practically vertical. Why not couple seamless ground combat to what’s already the most compelling sky-fighting sim around (sorry, World of Warplanes, sorry sorry sorry)?
Well, here’s why not. Because every significant update from now on will be filled with incomprehensible-named tracked vehicles, which I’ll have to try and type. Today, it’s my duty to announce that the second wave of Ground Forces’ closed beta merits a slews of new tanks, including the JaguarPanther IV-B, the T-3PO 1942, and the PzKpfwsxz]]/// Ausf.H. It says here.
DICE and EA spend millions ensuring Battlefield is associated with the right semantic keywords. Rush, bang, dakka, grey, orange - all reinforced by the posters and trailers the publishers put together for the release of a new iteration.
But Insurgency manages the same without a single dollar wasted. Buried within its name alone are the words ‘surge’, ‘urgency’, and (next) ‘gen’. And after nine months of Steam Early Access, it looks equally worthy of our time.
Welcome to DayZ Experimental Branch! You can drop the salute, son - we do things differently here. Leave your regulation rifle and canned food at the door - we’ll issue you with a sawed-off shotgun and all the berry-foraging skills you’ll need to survive the Eastern European apocalypse.
Once the zombies are gone, Rust will be a vehicle for tales of human exploitation and deceit, impure and simple. It’s a fine line between that and the technical exploits that threaten to upend the game - but Facepunch have found that if they squint a bit, they can just about pluck out the problems. Yesterday, a Post Dev Days Security patch saw an end to a common fall damage and suicide exploit.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is one of the most anticipated games of 2014 and Ubisoft released today three new screenshots from it. The Division sports gorgeous visuals and is developed by Massive Entertainment – the team that offered us one of the best action strategy games on the PC platform, World In Conflict. Is it a known issue or just a rare occurrence? Anyways, speaking of Resident Evil...I hope they patch Resident Evil 5 off of GFWL :(. |
Same, I really hope they do!
I liked looking at Chris's big arms. :P
As for CrystalChild's issue, if you are using an AMD card, throw the Beta drivers onto your system or roll back to the last WHQL drivers and of course reinstall DX9/.Net framework/Do a CCleaner run.
Civilization has been completely bug free, although personally I prefer to play Alpha Centauri, just wish Firaxis would do a sequel...

I don't think it's an AMD issue, I havent had a problem with it. :) (Running Quad R9 290's under water.)
Another cause could be if you have an FX CPU. (Another reason to avoid them.)
The Bulldozer based FX chips have an issue regarding the handling of interrupts which can cause issues with some software/games.
However the workaround to that is to update the Microcode/BIOS for your motherboard, most boards have an update that fixes it.

Not content with candy-related takedowns, King has seemingly contradicted its promises to be thoughtful in its application of trademark claims by filing a notice against The Banner Saga, a game with absolutely no connection to Candy Crush Saga beyond a shared word.
Valve has passed 50 new titles through its Steam Greenlight community approval process, including Rain World and Catlateral Damage.
Following on from Microsoft and Machinima’s “typical” paid Xbox One promotion, one NeoGAF user has come forward with documents allegedly pertaining to a similar promotional deal pertaining to next-generation EA games. While not going into specifics, an EA representative confirmed the promotion’s existence with The Verge, saying that “some fans are compensated for the YouTube videos they create and share about our games” and that participants are required to abide by the FTC’s guidelines regarding disclosure of paid advertorial material.
Thanks, Polygon.
Rymdkapsel‘s promised PC release is just around the corner, complete with bonus bells and whistles.
Diablo 3′s launcher will soon be redundant, integrated fully into Blizzard’s ever-improving Battle.net desktop client upon release of first expansion Reaper of Souls. A Battle.net announcement offers you the chance to get in early by downloading the client now, ahead of what is likely to be serious demand on launch day. Otherwise, the upgrade will take place automatically when Reaper of Souls and patch 2.0.1 drop, on March 25. The client also works for World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2.
Thanks, Polygon.
After two weeks in beta, Rage Quit Corporation’s “aerial first-person shooter” will go live on January 28th.

Grand Theft Auto 5 PC rumours are hotting up, as Amazon’s French and German stores have listed the game for release.
Brutal Legend developer Double Fine never made a sequel to the heavy metal romp, but studio founder Tim Schafer has stressed that he’d love to return to the world via a new game or DLC, and that actor Jack Black would probably be up for coming back.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sales helped boost AMD’s fourth-quarter financials, the firm has revealed. The company arm responsible saw revenue of $865 million in the period as a result.
Homefront 2 test footage appears to have been posted online last August, but it has only just been brought to our attention. The video shows a user driving a remote-controlled car device around an unfinished environment, then cycling through some Crytek-branded menus.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the sprawling open world RPG from the former Mafia developers that make up Warhorse Studios. The team has revealed it will split the PC and next-gen game into three episodes as a way of managing workloads and costs, along with the launch of a Kickstarter campaign.

Bitcoin/Litecoin miners helped propel those AMD financials.
The Radeon 7950/7970/280/280X 290/290X have all been selling like hotcakes.
Interesting to see how AMD stacks up when those markets falter and people aren't buying so many high-end cards.
