The next Tales Of remaster has leaked, and it's probably not what you're expecting
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/the-next-tales-of-remaster-has-leaked-and-its-probably-not-what-youre-expecting/
Since the series' 30th anniversary celebrations last year, Bandai Namco has been doling out remasters of the Tales Of games at a steady clip. Last year Tales of Graces f and Tales of Xillia both got the remaster treatment, and in February we got Tales of Berseria.
The first two were welcome: both were PlayStation 3 exclusives and hadn't been released for other platforms (unless you count Tales of Graces, which released for Wii). By comparison Tales of Berseria felt a little unnecessary: the non-remastered version looked fine, both on consoles and PC.
Thankfully, it looks like Bandai Namco is going back to rescuing entries from antiquated platforms. According to a recent PEGI listing, Tales of Eternia Remastered is the next cab off the rank.

Remastering Tales of Xillia and then skipping the directly connected Tales of Xillia 2 for Berseria is mind numbingly stupid. I can pop my PS4 copy of Beseria in my PS5 right now...

It wouldn't be too surprising if Bandai Namco remaster all the games in the series so, with that in mind, maybe they're trying to go with a lesser known title after a big one to increase awareness and its chances of being successful.

Also, if they do the popular games first, then no one wil care about the others later on.

That could explain why they've made this choice, but it could easily be incompetence, so who knows.

I don't think I've said this here, but the flood of free games has become ridiculous in the last year or two. I used to grab practically every free game that didn't require me to create a new account or sometimes even those that did, but now I actually find myself skipping the low-effort games in fear of them having or getting security issues, or perhaps infiltaring people's computers even being the aim of such games. Anything released before AI became a major thing is still probably safe in my eyes, but after that? I'm much more suspicious.

I still appreciate sharing all the free games though. I just wish we still lived in a world where we didn't have to worry about free games.

Yeah, I'm also a bit selective when it comes to free games, limiting myself to only pick games that I may play one day, not just everything.

My selection is mostly based on the genre (no horror games, for example).
