5060Ti 8GB vs 16GB test from Hardware Unboxed: Absolutely brutal that even 1080p high is struggling hard in several games on the 8GB version - and even a direct crash to desktop in Indiana Jones - when the 16GB version is doing close to triple digits at the same time. |
It's an almost $400 that can't play every game at 1080p at very-high/ultra settings. Spending those extra $50 for a proper 5060Ti is a necessity.
What a turd of a card.
I hope AMD pays close attention to the reception and sales of the 8GB model and cancels the 8GB 9060Ti. But who knows, maybe we'll see the same video in a couple months featuring the two 9060XT versions, the good one and the avoid-at-all-costs one.
While it seems to be a smart move from a business and economic perspective, this may prove to be risky for Nvidia. Trump and his administration has proven to be hard to predict, and this move from Nvidia to avoid the restrictions placed on them may cause a response from the US authorities that can really hurt them,
And that's without going for all the "China will steal and copy all Nvidia secrets to make their own chips without them" arguments,
I'd say that all the next architectures GPUs will use GDDR7, from Nvidia, Intel and also AMD.
Nova Lake-S are the CPUs that will come after the refresh of the current parts, right? Or is s.1851 a one gen only system?
Oi! Launching with bad drivers that get fixed and bring performance improvements is an AMD thing, not Nvidia! /s
Let's hope some site/channel put those drivers to test so we can see if games also see an improvement or it's just for synthetic benchmarks.
Please excuse my bad English.
