Okay, I just converted kWh in m³... factor 10.3 according to my last bills.

€0.54 per m³ mid 2018 to mid 2020
€0.62 per m³ mid 2019 to mid 2021
€0.63 per m³ mid 2020 to mid 2022
currently €1.35 per m³ until May 2023... so 2.15x of last year

I hope that the Ukraine war ends until then.

In a different tweet, Popovich revealed that a single hour of sales beat Monomi Park's previous best day by "a literal order of magnitude."

The Netflix anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the first thing that's made me a little bit interested in playing Cyberpunk 2077 since its rough launch in late 2020. And it seems like I'm not the only one who dug the anime's interpretation of Night City. Cyberpunk 2077's player count has jumped up to an impressive million people per day. And for the last two weeks, the Cyberpunk 2077 Nexusmods page has increasingly been populated with Edgerunners-inspired mods. I've counted about 30 so far, released since September 15.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The games Linus tested has Ryzen 7000 beating AlderLake while losing pretty massively to 5800X3D

The games GN tested, Ryzen 7000 performs similarly to 5800X3D outside of CSGO

It has a pretty massive lead in productivity applications though but the temps and power are pretty high at 95C with 360 AIO paired with 7950x but AMD says its alright. It does also require more power but as usual, Intel sucks more power.

So as predicted back when AMD first started showing the IPC numbers, Ryzen 7000 is a pretty pointless upgrade for gamers with AM4. 5800X3D either beats Ryzen 7000 pretty handily or is within 1-2%. In some rare instances, Ryzen 7000 takes a big lead in very old games like CSGO but that's very rare. Combine the disappointing gaming improvements with needing a motherboard upgrade (gets really expensive if you want PCI-E Gen 5 for GPU), DDR5 6000 Ram and potentially a cooler upgrade cause these chips run very hot... Well you just spent a whole lot of money for gaming performance that's similar to 5800X3D.

Raptor Lake will be announced tomorrow but it's expected to be 5-10% faster in gaming but least you get very cheap motherboards as Z690 have been getting good discounts... However it is a dead end platform. To me though, both Ryzen 7000 or Raptor Lake are poor upgrades. If you have AM4 with a CPU older than Ryzen 5000 and you are buying strictly for gaming, get 5800X3D knowing you are able to keep up with Ryzen 7000s very best in most games.

So unlike 2020, 2022 has to be one of the worst years to upgrade your PC if you are a gamer... Lovelace disappointing, Ryzen 7000 disappointing, Raptor Lake probably disappointing and I wouldn't get my hopes up for RDNA 3. 5800X3D + Ampere continues to be the best bang per buck combination that should allow people to hold out till these companies get less greedy.

As noted by Hardware Unboxed, AMD says that this is intended, all their Zen 4 chips will boost up to 95 degrees, so with a better cooler you can reach better clock speeds.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WubXd2tXOA

Their 7600X boosts to 5.45 Ghz, which is 150 Mhz above max specs because their cooler could take it.

I wonder however where the differences come from with the 5800X3D between HU and LTT, as they're very different results here.

Feels like a Zen+ moment. And not that impressive once you factor in the cost of upgrading your whole system.

The 5800X3D is still a beast.. will be upgrading to that and that'll be me done for the next few years.

Yea but obviously this means a worse cooler will get lower clocks which will get worse performance than in their benchmarks. 7600X running at 93C with a 360 AIO isn't exactly a good thing not to mention, the room will get hotter more quickly than previous gens. The fact that a 5800X3D runs cooler than a 7600X while delivering similar performance + having two extra cores is crazy.

I think it's much worse than a Zen+ moment because of the platform upgrade cost. Zen+ was just meh in terms of performance but with Ryzen 7000... AMD is basically just asking you to pay $500+ on top of the CPU just to get almost the same gaming performance.

I'll wait for the other tests from HU before I judge the chips. Having the entry-level chip, the 7600X, beat the 5800X3D (a more expensive CPU, though if you have the Mobo and Ram still a cheaper upgrade), is nothing to scoff at.

Again, I wonder why on LTT the 5800X3D stood out so much in some reviews when it got beaten or was just marginally in front at HU in those same games with a weaker CPU.
