Congratulations to Microsoft!
I don't think it will pass the PS2's sales. In fact, the UK market is quite saturated now with current gen consoles. It's already extremely impressive that over 20 million consoles were sold in a country with a population of 65 million!

I wonder how the tracking is on other consoles, 360 and Wii are overtracked by quite a bit. 360 500k over in the UK?

Given it passed 5 million in October last year, VGC apparatnly has it selling 900k since. This will probably be 1m+ by time October hits. PS3 has never/barely crossed 1m in the UK in any year so I imagine with the downturn it's nowhere near 1m for this past year.

Also, I knew it hadn't happened yet :P same with PS3 overtaking 360, when it happens Sony will be shouting it from the rooftops.
