I don't know if you read the full post, so I'll mention it again: The Xbone has proprietary jacks, meaning that any headsets you currently have won't work with it (same way Sony has proprietary memory cards for the VITA). This means MS can charge a premium for average headsets, that'll work only with the Xbone.


LOL Just like my days owning a 360. MS always had some extra piece I had to buy. 

Hmmm, maybe they'll throw their customers a bone (no pun intended), and let them use non-proprietary wireless headsets that don't require the use of a jack.

And yeah, I kept my 360 at the most basic level for that reason.


It was a pain in the ass for me. My Family got the core model for me during a holiday so I ended up having to spend an extra $129 on the HDD, two battery packs (because I refused to buy batteries for that crap again), an extra controller, the full year of XBL after the two months. Ugh... its like trying to assemble a halfassed Transformer robot.

I should've just bought myself a full Xbox 360 at that rate instead of letting my family buy it. Nongamers don't know the core model of the 360 is utterly useless to a gamer.

Why do you need a headset when you have Kinect? I don't use a headset for ps3 because the pseye works just as well.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

The PS4's is standard and convenient, I like it.
But it's nothing to fight over.

PS4 headset looks rubbish. Glad X1 doesn't come with that piece of shit either, Turtle beach for me.

Most people are happy using a cheap bluetooth headset. Maybe people will be fine using Kinect for voice chat.

I think what everyone is worked up about is that your nice turtle beaches don't work with xb1.
